A PHILOSOPHY OF TIME AND AUTHENTICITY
Blending timeless cognacs is an art that develops over time. From vine to bottle, cognac is the epilogue of a three part-story – selection, aging and finally, blending. The Ragnaud family has also written the fabulous story of its brand in three chapters. After the pioneering development by her ancestors came the step-by-step growth and commercial conquest of the Maison led by Françoise Ragnaud-Bricq. Now comes the time of savoir-faire and business transfer to another family eager to write the new chapters of this brand. Authenticity alone, which has always been the spearhead of the Maison, can ensure this timeless art.
The Raymond Ragnaud vineyard meets the expectations of the most demanding brandy-loving amateurs: First growth of the Grande Champagne appellation, old vines to produce timeless cognacs, the folle blanche grape variety to offer a unique collection of vintage cognacs and, today, the introduction of the colombard variety to diversify and enrich the aromatic character of the crus.
The crafting of Raymond Ragnaud cognacs meets the appellation’s strictest criteria to offer the quintessence of Grande Champagne. Sincerity champions our collection of vintage cognacs, which are left as natural as possible, almost raw, without wood or sugar, and non-chill filtered.
Drawing on meticulous expertise acquired over hundreds of years, Maison Raymond Ragnaud has cultivated the art of developing outstanding cognacs, pineaux des Charentes, and a unique collection of vintages in ugni blanc every year from 1990 to today and in folle blanche since 2003. A collection of the vineyard seasonal singularities over the past 30 years, this remarkable reserve illustrates the devotion to nature and its rhythms of Maison Raymond Ragnaud in crafting timeless cognacs.
